In Dystopia, everyone despises private property, but secretly works to obtain it. Everyone hates differences, but they always seek to be special. Everyone hates money, but once you get it, no one gives it away. They all abhor religion, but embrace their own invented dogmas day by day. They all ignore politics, but throughout their lives they do nothing more than vote for the same leaders who alternate power among themselves. They all think that studying is the most important thing, but they hate grades. In Dystopia everyone can be anything they can think of and stop being. A place where intolerance is not allowed, except the intolerance of the intolerant. And from the center of that gruesome place, an invisible tower of ivory "protects" its entire population.
After 14 years of touring with the show "Un Poyo Rojo" the company premieres its new work "DYSTOPIA".
Dystopia is born in movement. Tours, routes, airports, hotels and train stations. Always looking for where to connect our phones, worshiping satellites in orbit, depending on a network, enjoying Cybernia and Dystopia. How? The short relief of connecting to be Me again. Who? Cybernia and Dystopia. Since then, opprobrium and success marked our lives.
Dystopia is a constant balancing act between the trivial and the sublime that playfully questions our human condition. The show pokes fun at all sorts of mandates and assignments to better desecrate them. It deactivates fears, excesses and postures through laughter, questioning the viewer: "Where do we come from? How far have we come? What is the destiny of this human being?"
